Please email planning using the outline below to save the lake and the access to it.

Dear Planning
I and many others visit “the Canyons” whose destruction the application 03/P/09336 authorises . We also enjoy the commons and quiet roads around the Canyons
I object to these plans on the grounds that visitors Leisure amenity will be wrecked by this whole area being "reprocessed".
I object to these plans on the grounds that Biodiversity will be negatively impacted. This enormous site encompasses a wetlands, pond, cliffs, grassland, woodland and heath. This is a very broad range of habitats which will be disrupted or, in the case of the wetlands, pond and current cliffs, completely destroyed.
Sightings in the area of Hen Harriers – a species classed as red (high) conservation priority by the RSPB.
I oppose the planning application because of the Ancient woodland it will affect There are 3 ancient or ancient replanted woodlands in the areas: Map Ref:ST253999 Classified by the Woodland Trust as Ancient semi-natural woodland (2.82 hectares)SO252007 Classified by the Woodland Trust as Ancient semi-natural woodland (9.05 hectares)SO249011 Classified by the Woodland Trust as Ancient replanted woodland (0.45 hectares)The new road cuts back and fore through this ancient wood land which is unacceptable
I oppose the planning application 03/P/09336 The noise, pollution and disturbance from the lorries would ruin this The road widening and new roads, traffic lights and gates on the common would spoil this
I oppose this planning application because of the negative impact the extra lorries and traffic will have on the air quality and health of the residents of Crumlin, the negative impact the new road will have where it joins the road on a cycle route.

I and many others visit “the Northern Canyon” which is located on the northern part of the application 03/P/09336, half in Blaenau Gwent half in Torfaen
There is a lake at SO 23539 01340 (East 323539 North 201340) that the proposal shows will start to be filled in with as soon as the work starts.
I object to these plans on the grounds that visitors Leisure amenity will be wrecked by this lake been filled in.
Could the plans be adjusted so that the lake is left intact throughout the development and for the future.
Could it also be insured that access to the lake remains unrestricted throughout the development.
On the way to the lake is a unique landscape including exposed rock making a cliff. Between (323319,201589 and 323409,201495). Could the plans be adjusted to preserve this cliff face and the approach to the lake
